The City Reliquary in Williamsburg

I’m Jane and I’m currently on a journey to visit every museum in New York City. You can check out the whole series on TikTok. We checked out a literal hidden gem in Williamsburg called The City Reliquary. It’s actually directly across the street from where I worked pre-COVID and my friends and I thought it was just a bodega that was always closed, but it is actually much more.

The City Reliquary is basically a museum of New York City artifacts and items. It takes about 45 minutes to explore the whole museum, but it might take longer if you decide to look at every item, there’s a lot. There’s also a super cute backyard with larger artifacts like street signs, and the museum hosts events and performances out there every month so it might be worth going on an event night.

Afterwards, we went directly next door to Rosa’s Pizza, which was a staple of my daily life while working in the neighborhood. They currently have a cute outdoor seating area. If you don’t know what to try, I recommend the ravioli slice and the grandma slice (I always get the corner piece).
