A Virtual Groupmuse Concert feat. Upbeat Folk Tunes & Holiday Classics

Itinerary in partnership with Faros, your social life concierge. Try a free month of Faros.

We're co-hosting a Groupmuse with our friends at Faros! When we surveyed what you're missing from the arts during the pandemic, many of you shared that you're missing live concerts. We are too! That's why we're partnering with Groupmuse, an online social network that connects young classical musicians directly to audiences through social chamber music gatherings. Before COVID-19, Groupmuse organized hundreds of chamber music concert house parties (called groupmuses) every month. With Faros, we're co-hosting a holiday-themed virtual chamber concert, bringing you an intimate musical experience for the age of social distancing.

On Sunday, December 13th at 7:00pm, join us and the talented Rasa String Quartet for a night of upbeat folk tunes from Ireland, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe, mixed with their unique spin on holiday classics! The program fuses the complex virtuosity of the classical genre with the visceral story-telling power of folk music. Broadcast in HD from Boston, the concert is sure to bring you warmth, laughter, and holiday cheer!
